Company man tasks

I. List of Company man duties:

  1. Focus on all well completion, workover and well intervention planning and execution issues
  2. Developing cost estimates and scoping of data for alternative well options – consider “life of well issues” (e.g. future workovers, recompletions, abandonment, etc.)
  3. Recommend completion design alternatives (tubular design, connectors, artificial lift, sand control, stimulation, etc)
  4. All aspects of completion program design, development and permitting. Coordinate the gathering of data for design criteria; including offset well data, reservoir data, produced fluids types, etc.
  5. Equipment procurement/forecasting
  6. Management of Contracts for Third Party services
  7. Participation in the Chevron Project Development and Execution Process (CPDEP) phase gate meetings
  8. Vendor evaluation and selection, as well as work order development for vendors critical to the process
  9. Participate on a Rig team to monitor and execute the completion/intervention program
  10. Supply engineering and technical support to the Superintendent and Well Site Manager/Company Man as necessary to execute the work program
  11. Involvement in numerous health, safety and environmental efforts
  12. Mentoring of national engineers

II. List of Company man qualifications

  1. Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline
  2. Minimum of 5 years experience as a completion engineer or as a company man. Note: Each country has specific requirements for non-national personnel to work in their country, initial assignments will be to locations commensurate with the successful candidate’s education and work experience.
  3. A valid passport issued from country of citizenship.
  4. Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English
  5. Proven competency in completion design, planning, and execution
  6. Strong communication and leadership skills for interaction with technical employees in the work group, their peers, and internal and external customers
  7. Candidate must be results and performance driven
  8. Candidate should be self motivated with the ability to act as a change agent
