I. List of Offshore installation manager duties:

1. Proactively participate in HSE initiatives, START, JSAs and risk assessments.
2. Responsible for using sound judgment, safe work practices, and delivering high quality work on-time.
3. Prepare and present technical data to internal customers
4. Familiar with and can utilize industry code requirements, quality requirements, and customer requirements.
5. Using the CAD and data base systems and facilities to generate layouts, analyze designs, and evaluate equipment systems.
6. Has basic understanding of system field and detailed schematics.
7. Prepares technical documentation related to engineering changes; ECN (Engineering Change Notices), DBI (Data Base Information) and engineering specification/requirements and ensures conformance to all policies and procedures related to engineering deliverables.
8. Participate in design reviews and consult with other departments on designs, and field related applications.
9. Provide on/offshore technical support for assembly/refurbishment and offshore operations. Identify root cause of problems and document appropriately.
10. Develop and communicate alternative solutions and associated benefits and risks.
11. Create clear technical instructions regarding refurbishment, installations, maintenance and/or repair of equipment following quality requirements.
12. Proper and timely entry of engineering hours in SAP.
13. Has a basic understanding of subsea environment with respect to materials, cathodic protection, corrosion (pitting, HISC, galvanic etc.), calcareous deposits, marine growth.
14. Has a basic understanding of different coating and surface treatment applications (Xylan, paint, electroless nickel, phosphating, nitriding, carburising etc.).
15. Is aware of safety aspects related to real-life environment of using/installing FMC equipment, at onsite and offsite locations.

II. List of Offshore installation manager qualifications

1. BS degree in Engineering required; For Topside Controls: BS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent preferred
2. Generally less than 2 years of experience in the field
3. Understand basics of engineering theory specific to area of specialty and/ or single product, including code and criteria requirements.
4. Performs relatively routine activities and tasks related to their area of focus.
5. Basic understanding of simple design.
6. Awareness of safety issues in design specific specialty area.
7. Able to operate computer systems within related field.
8. Basic analytical and problem solving skills related to field.
9. Accuracy and attention to detail important.
10. Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities is important.
11. Effective written and verbal communication skills in English are important.
12. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment is important.
13. Ability to receive constructive feedback and coaching, and respond appropriately.
14. Articulate and substantiate own point of view to peers and supervisors.
15. Ability to communicate basic information effectively with peers, customers, and management, both verbally and in writing.
16. Effective understanding and communication within diverse cultural environments.
17. Possess good PC skills and knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
18. Embodies a customer-oriented attitude and the ability to work independently without close supervision
19. Must be able to receive a Transportation Work Identification Credential (TWIC)
