I. List of Roughneck duties:
      1.            Interpret and understand product specifications, data sheets, and customer requirements
      2.            Research and secure information on materials required to develop product designs
      3.            Perform design calculations in accordance with API, ASME, ASM, AISI standards
      4.            Design product components and assemblies
      5.            Prepare detailed sketches of new products and assist Designers in developing and checking drawings
      6.            Generate Bills of Materials, Engineering Change Notices, and review the work of other Engineers and     Designers
      7.            Work with manufacturing and assembly personnel to develop efficient methods of assembly on equipment
      8.            Work with other engineering and service personnel to develop procedures and documentation to inspect, repair, and recertify used equipment from the field
      9.            Generate test procedures and all necessary support documentation for product verification and validation
  10.            Perform product tests and experiments that require standard as well as nonstandard procedures
  11.            Perform other duties as required by engineering management
II. List of Roughneck qualifications
      1.             3-10 years of design experience
      2.            Excellent technical communication skills including proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
      3.            Excellent written as well as verbal communication skills
      4.            Knowledge of Engineering standards and procedures
      5.            Self-directed and highly motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision
      6.            Can work equally well individually as well as in a design team setting
      7.            Knowledge of and experience working in and around an ISO and Q1 Certified manufacturing plant
      8.            Working knowledge of API 8A, 8C, RP8B, and 7K requirements as they pertain to hoisting and drilling equipment
      9.            Design experience with Oilfield Drilling and Hoisting Equipment a plus
