I. List of Offshore
storeman duties:
1.
Coordinate with Inventory Control Manager to ensure all
required components are available to complete a project.
2.
Order and coordinate with local suppliers for
“non-stocked" production requirements.
3.
Liaise with Sales to ensure all project details are
understood and achievable.
4.
Maintain customer job files.
5.
Arrange and oversee transport and shipping of all
sales.
6.
Prepare all invoices and process all customer invoices.
7.
Invoicing of service reports, as instructed by the
Service Manager.
8.
Field all internal sales calls, and process
accordingly.
9.
Liaise with storeman to ensure on time delivery, with
correct packaging.
10.
Sell spare parts and service to customers where
possible.
11.
Process orders and warranty claims as required.
II. List of Offshore
storeman qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of inventory experience
- Manufacturing experience
- Working with lots of parts and pieces is ideal. As is working with lead times to coordinate with production schedules
- MS Office, general computer literacy
- They use Arrow software to track their inventory but no experience needed with this application
- Customer Service orientated.
