I. List of Offshore steward duties:

1. Responsible for defining requirements, analyzing business needs, and validating the solutions with the stakeholders
2. Be the "Gate Keeper" in maintaining consistency, uniformity and accuracy of all systems master data
3. Identify and manage the escalation and resolution of data quality issues in a cost-effective and timely fashion.
4. Administer all necessary Create/Read/Update/Delete requests to appropriate reference data, insuring accuracy and completion of information
5. Ensure that all data management standards reflect existing data governance policy
6. Participate in formal project teams and activities concerning Master Data
7. Coordinate flow of information between all departments for responsible master data elements
8. Determine and track the root cause(s) for all change requests
9. Execute necessary maintenance for all master data integrity clean-up projects
10. Respond to and provide appropriate information for all master data related questions and inquiries
11. Investigate all known issues related to systems master data
12. Ensure all Enterprise Master Data Forms are accurate and up to date
13. Support the conflict resolution process through providing data oriented metrics and details
14. Assist in the identification, definition and population of the correct and required data
15. Works independently on regular duties under general supervision, referring questionable cases to supervisor or others
16. Interact with technical teams to stay involved and abreast of emerging technologies
17. Ensure appropriate stakeholders are involved in new initiatives to obtain needed information, maintaining the highest level of data quality throughout the organization
18. Contribute to establishment (and transformation as needed) standards for data quality, usage, and definitions through tooling and scorecards
19. Participate in project data migration activities through identification of data sources and targets
20. Work with the Product development project teams to ensure data requirements are met
21. Assist in the development process for projects to ensure customer needs are met
22. Ensure Global data requests are completed accurately and thoroughly
23. Examines data quality, applications, and functions and recommends changes to enhance processes
24. Provide training within the Reference Data and other departments and teams regarding master data processes
25. Work independently to achieve departmental goals and objectives

II. List of Offshore steward qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT or related field
2. 7+  years of work experience; 3 to 5 years data management experience
3. 4+  years in single data domain ( reference, structured finance)
4. 2+ years in an additional data domain
5. Working knowledge of CUSIP, ISINs, CINS or other market identifiers
6. Working knowledge of GoldenSource is highly desirable
7. Intermediate skill in database knowledge (SQL queries)
8. Oracle back-end experience and understanding of metadata structure
9. Excellent communication and organizational skills
10. Advanced Microsoft Access and Excel skills
11. Advanced multi-tasking skills and time management skills
12. Strong technical knowledge and understanding of reference data elements, processes, and organizational support models is preferred
13. Ability to work in an international team including working with offshore and outsource team 
14. Experience with data profiling as it relates to system usability, quality, and current usage
15. Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and effectively engage with individuals at all levels of the organization
16. Good analytical skills and demonstrated ability to effectively troubleshoot and provide solutions
17. Proven ability to manage priorities and timelines
18. Provide project estimates and work-breakdown schedules
19. Responsive, able to work under pressure in crisis with a strong sense of urgency
20. Responsible, conscientious, organized, self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
21. Must be detail oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze for potential future issues
