I. List of Offshore field engineer duties:

        1.            Performs troubleshooting activities at site locations to diagnose problems, determine appropriate resolution, and implements corrective actions
        2.            Performs installation and commissioning activities at customer site locations. Must be capable of working unsupervised and leading small teams
        3.            Under the direction of a senior engineer performs a wide range of engineering tasks to ensure the technical integrity and proper installation and commissioning of GE systems
        4.            Develops presentations and provides training and instruction to customers on system operations
        5.            Promotes sales of maintenance services
        6.            Performs other related engineering tasks to facilitate proper commissioning and customer satisfaction
        7.            Provides continuous, 24 hour by 7 day a week, support in response to customer calls for service
        8.            Ensures appropriate response and service is provided to customer

II. List of Offshore field engineer qualifications

        1.            Bachelor's Degree OR Associate''s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Technology or related field with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of professional work experience in a related field
        2.            Minimum of 4 years of Field Service and Commissioning experience with drives and/or power and/or automation systems or educational knowledge within related field
        3.            Ability and willingness to travel to destinations in the USA or overseas on short notice and for extended periods of time to troubleshoot existing GE systems as required
        4.            Possesses detailed knowledge, competence and expertise with installation and commissioning tasks and services for GE products and systems
        5.            Solid computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office applications
        6.            Ability to learn and follow defined departmental policies, procedures and practices
        7.            Ability to make decisions with regards to completion of tasks and job methods and follow through with results of outcome
        8.            Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills essential
        9.            Ability to interact and communicate with internal customers. Internal customers may include production, engineers, and management personnel
