engineer duties:
- The position is a broad-based engineering position with a concentration in beach nourishment, coastal protections and structures, inlet and navigation studies involving feasibility analyses, engineering designs, limited computer modeling, report preparation, permitting and construction engineering services, at a minimum.
- Willingness to regularly travel and work at beachfront locations with minimal supervision for short periods of time (two weeks) to perform construction observations. Required on-site lodging may include a quarters barge in remote locations.
- Perform detailed technical analysis of complex project issues.
- Monitor applicable regulatory requirements and stays abreast of regulatory trends.
- Solve problems quickly.
- Work activities include collection and interpretation of engineering data, calculation of fill/cut volumes, deveopment of permit applications, coastal engineering design, graphics development and report preparation.

- Must possess a clean driving record.
