I. List of Assistant
cro duties:
- Proactive support for CIO which may include: monitoring and response of email, adjusting appointments and scheduling based on assessment of priority and interceding on issues on behalf of the CIO as appropriate.
- Attend and prepare minutes for but not limited to the Information Technology Governance Group (ITGG), Independent Security Officer Quarterly Briefing, Change Advisory Board, Patch Review Board, Security Problem Review Board and weekly IT Senior Staff meetings
- Assist with the preparation, copy editing, and/or mailing of items as needed. This includes but is not limited to: ITGG meeting materials, Risk Committee IT Risk Report, minutes and Key Performance Indicators.
- Coordinate meetings (conference calls). This includes preparation of agendas and call-in information via email to appropriate parties.
- Maintain tracking and accountability for tasks assigned by the CIO and/or CRO.
- Maintain email distribution and phone lists.
- File department related documents and reports, as needed.
- Provide general administrative and clerical assistance to the IT department. This includes coordination of calendars for the CIO and IT Director(s).
- Type business correspondence and review for proper format, grammar, and accuracy using Microsoft Word.
- Perform other administrative and clerical tasks as assigned.

cro qualifications
- Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established policy and procedural guidelines
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of general IT principles or concepts
- Ability to work well with all levels of management and staff
- Five years' administrative and/or clerical experience which includes taking minutes
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook
